Goals & Activities
Individualized plans are developed for each consumer:
- Family involvement is essential to each consumer’s progress
- Consumers are admitted on a voluntary basis, through waiver, self, family, Case Management Services and other like organizations
- No restrictions with regard to residency, sex, religion, race, physical handicaps, or national origin
- Provides consumers with community and organizational activities designed to promote trust, understanding, and restore life’s balance as much as possible, such involvements shall include: Group, Individual, and Family activity
- A complete psychological and physical evaluation may be required
- Encourages consumers to take responsibility for their own actions and participate in community life and problem solving activities
- Prepares the consumer for entering and coping with community living skills such as stress management and assertiveness training.
